Our Social Responsibility

Visit to Jeevan Samvardhan Foundation

It is not because we are empathetic that we take on our social obligations; rather, it is because we are dedicated to serving the underprivileged.
For Mumbaikars in particular and all Indians in general, Diwali is always a memorable time. We therefore saw yesterday as just another opportunity to perform this community service.

eresource family members paid a visit to the Jeevan Samvardhan Foundation (JSF), an NGO near Thane city that has been assisting homeless children since 2010 with their rehabilitation, reintegration into society, and restore their social trust.

In addition to books and some instructional resources, we gave the kids Diwali sweets, clothing, and firecrackers. We played and listened to their life in Jeevan Samvardhan, spending some valuable time with them. We are certain that our visit has brought such a pleasant mood there, as seen by the joy on their naive faces.

We took another oath as we departed the Jeevan Samvardhan grounds in the evening: we shall return with ever-greater possessions.

Sarva Shiksha Prayas by eresource Family

The poorest part of a country is often the most neglected. Many of the current problems in our rural schools are well known. Most have inadequate infrastructure. Most do not have toilets or reliable electricity. Most of the schools in rural do not have basic infrastructure like school building, classrooms, black boards, proper benches to sit, drinking water, toilet facilities, first aid in case of medical emergency.

eresource has attempted an initative and we call it “SARVA SHIKSHA PRAYAS”.
